1) The Bill - This is a very catchy opening tune which I am sure people will still be able to remember now, it is very highly paced. In my opinion this is good as the pace of the theme tune matched up with the pace of the programme.
2) Eastenders - A very recognisable opening scene. It has altered a few times with the lighting of the camera however has always been iconic in the fact that it is a shot leading into London, mainly the river Thames. Also, as the theme tune (played in the opening sequence) is played at the end, it matches in with the 3 bangs which go along with the cliffhanger in every episode.
3) Coronation Street - Finally a final iconic opening sequence, I like this for the same reasons that I like Eastenders, it is very catchy and recognisable. Here is a video of how little the opening sequence tune has changed. It is only the pictures which have been updated.
